A GLOBAL CHURCH MOVEMENT
Celebration Church Rarotonga is part of a growing global network of churches spanning many nations across the world. What once was a humble gathering of 20 people that began in Christchurch New Zealand, has now turned into Celebration Church Movement, an international network of more than 130 churches world-wide.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Apostolic leaders Murray and Nancy Watkinson started Celebration Centre Church in 1990. After a sovereign move of the Holy Spirit that took the church from 80 people in attendance to over 800 in only a week, the church began to take on another form. It wasn’t long before churches and church networks began to join our growing global family. Today, Murray and Nancy travel throughout the nations bringing Apostolic revelation whilst still building a strong local work. We also have senior ministries that continue in spearheading an apostolic move across many nations.

It wasn’t long before God began to speak to Murray & Nancy about pioneering a church
in Rarotonga, which was established in 2009. Our pastors Jonathan & Natasha Cargill took up the call and moved out of Christchurch and into Rarotonga to continue building the work of God on the island. God is moving powerfully throughout Rarotonga, encountering and transforming countless lives. Whilst the movement of churches is expanding rapidly around the globe, our local church in Rarotonga has continued to advance and is now expanding its influence internationally. We are excited about building the Kingdom of God with one heart and one purpose to passionately lift up Christ.
